At Suraksha Palliative Care Centre we provide compassionate care to those in need, especially the economically disadvantaged. At Suraksha Palliative Care Centre (PCC), we've learned that nobility is more than a virtue; it's a commitment. In every home we visit, every life we touch, and every challenge we face, we find enduring compassion, transformative resilience, and the profound truth that the noblest path is the one in service to others.
In 8 months, our palliative care team, comprised of skilled doctors and nurses, aided 113 families, visiting 10-30 homes weekly. Our focus is on delivering compassionate care directly to all.
Expanding impact, we trained 30 palliative volunteers. Collaborating with nearby groups, we've created a pool of volunteers actively supporting our palliative team during visits, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Our training initiatives empower caregivers and communities. Palliative doctors lead sessions, nurses offer practical insights, and dieticians raise awareness on the nutritional benefits of incorporating millets for palliative patients.
Addressing economic challenges, we provide essential food kits to bedridden patients and those in financial need, ensuring basic nutritional needs are met for overall well-being
